RYS 300 Yoga Alliance

Overview

200-Hour Traditional Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training

(Traditional Mysore Style Ashtanga Yoga)

Ashtanga Yoga Mandiram (AYM) is an internationally renowned Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher training school located in one of the most beautiful beaches of Goa, India. Founded in 2008, We have graduated more than 13,000 certified yoga teachers in our world-renowned 200-hour yoga teacher training program since its inception.

Ashtanga Yoga Mandiram has been founded to teach traditional Mysore style ashtanga yoga in its purest form and essence, keeping in line with the tradition of Sage Patanjali and as practised and taught by Sri K Pattabhi Jois, Srimati Saraswati Jois and Sri Sharath Jois.

The word Mandiram means a temple. Therefore, Ashtanga Yoga Mandiram means temple of Ashtanga Yoga where yoga comes above everything. We intend and endeavour to practice and teach all the eight limbs of Ashtanga yoga with special emphasis on yamas, niyamasa, pranayama and meditation. We have observed that in the modern yoga world, these are the most neglected limbs of yoga, while they are the most important ones, therefore, it naturally becomes our responsibility to give extra attention to these limbs and encourage our students and teachers to follow the same. Ashtanga Yoga is not just about proficiency in asana practice but it’s about practicing and mastering all the eight limbs.

Our 200-hour Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training Course is an intensive program designed to give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to practice and teach Ashtanga yoga.

Our comprehensive Ashtanga Yoga TTC curriculum covers asana, pranayama, meditation, philosophy, alignment, adjustment and a lot of teaching practice.
